About our involvement in the community:

The Kenbridge branch is located in the same building as the bank's headquarters on the town's main street. The bank's oldest branch, it has been an important part of this community for over 35 years.

Through the years, the Kenbridge branch has supported just about every local organization in one way or another. They are frequently a major sponsor for and participant in community events such as the Berry Blast and the annual Christmas Parade. In 2007, they supported over 30 organizations with monetary and in-kind donations. They have also held food drives and sales to raise money for such needs as the community food kitchen and disaster victims.

The Kenbridge staff is also very active in the community. They are members of the Chamber of Commerce, the Ruritan Club, the Lunenburg Rotary Club, the Kenbridge Recreational Association, Lunenburg Youth Athletics, and Dixie Youth Athletics. Manager Debbie Brandon is on the board of the Lunenburg Chamber of Commerce and is Chairman of the Board of STEPS. Several staff members participate in Ripberger Library's reading programs.

It is obvious that the members of this branch love their community!

What's happening at the Kenbridge branch:

Natasha has been named the new Kids' Club (called the YES Club) coordinator. If you have a child between the ages of 5 and 12, be sure to bring them in to see Natasha!

Debbie had a Kindergarten class visit the bank for National Teach Children to Save Day. Check out the pictures from her presentation.

For a back-to-school event, the Kenbridge staff hosted Fun Day for members of the YES Club. Members and their guests received gifts and enjoyed refreshments. They also met other youth who are excited about saving and participated in activities such as coloring and sharing their savings goals.
